In the Haisla territory, Gitxaała Members are employed at Bird Construction, Sodexo, Dexterra, Fluor, Integral, and Atco.

In Prince Rupert, members are employed at Safeway, ILWU, Quickload Logistics, Industrial Scaffokling Services, End Tire, MacKenzie Furniture, Coastal Fish, Ray-Mont Logistics, Wainwright Marine, Bandstra, Coast Guard, Ridley Terminals, and Kiewit.

Community Based Fisheries Coordinator

seeking an enthusiastic individual who has good communication, project
coordination, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will have some
combination of experience working in and with rural and coastal Indigenous Nations
and knowledge and/or background in fisheries, sustainable natural resource use and
planning, business planning and/or community economic development.

 

CNCF General Manager

Under the leadership of a strong Board, the CNCF manages and operates the
commercial fishing licences and quotas held by CNF through the development of a
sustainable and profitable commercial fishing business that operates within the
framework of all commercial fisheries in British Columbia.
