Gitxaala Nation is pleased to offer our Youth Sports Incentive for Gitxaala Nation’s school-aged children. This assistance is to support the youth with their physical wellness through funding for Sports and Extra Curricular activities.
We are offering $200 per school-aged child and ask that you complete and send in the attached application to apply for the funding.
- Each Child is entitled to $200 for the 2024/25 school year.
- Parents/Legal guardians must be the ones to apply.
- Children must be registered and attend school. Applications will be accepted for the duration of the school year calendar.
- Must provide receipt as proof of eligible expense for the funding to be approved.
- Direct Deposit information is required if your current information is not up to date, if you are not certain, please submit one so we can ensure your funds can be deposited to you.
- Incomplete applications can cause delays in approval of applications.
Applications can be picked up at the Prince Rupert CLC and/or Band Office.
