The Public Works department is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of community services within Gitxaała. This includes garbage disposal, road maintenance and repair and fuel station services.

Department Summary

  • Maintenance of water, sewer, storm sewer, roads, fields

  • Sanitation and landfill operations

  • Yard works including waste collection and brush cutting

Hours of Operation

Fuel Station:  Monday to Friday 9AM-4:30PM

Garbage Pick-up:  Every Thursday 1:00pm-4:00pm

Recycling Pick-up:  Every Wednesday 1:00pm-4:00pm
