Gitxaała Nation is pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor McConkey as the Interim Director of the Continuous Learning Center. Trevor is currently the General Manager of Gitxaała Environmental Services, and he will continue in that role as he assumes the temporary position at CLC.
Brooke Robinson, Employment Administrative Assistant, and Helen Gladstone, Admin Assistant will be continuing in their positions at CLC.
Additionally, the Nation has also retained KasaHR Consulting to conduct a wide-ranging search for a permanent CLC Director. The process is estimated to take up to 90 days.
Trevor, Brooke, and Helen are in place to ensure that Gitxaała members can receive assistance and services on a continuous basis from the CLC. They will also endeavor to keep Gitxaała’s Employment Training and Education plan on track.
