BC Hydro plan to shut the power off in the Kitkatla Area for a 2nd week.
BC Hydro has released another notice via Electronic Mail on May 22nd; For a planned 2-day outage for the Kitkatla Area
- Thursday, June 6th, 2024 – From 8AM to 5PM
- Friday, June 7th, 2024 – From 8AM to 5PM
So crew can perform system upgrades.
Note: these are estimate times and can be subject to change.
BC Hydro advice, Before the outage begins, turn off electric heaters, major appliances and unplug sensitive electronics to protect them from damage. If you rely on electric medical equipment or access doors, have a plan to maintain use.
