The Gitxaala Housing Department is now accepting applications for 2 individuals to fill the positions of carpenter and construction site labourer
Applicants must be able and willing to perform the following:
- Be physically fit able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Be willing to work 8 hours per day.
- Be safety conscious, able to work on scaffolding with a willingness to learn basic carpentry skills along with identifying workplace hazards.
- Handle basic power tools.
- Be a team player and good attitude is a must.
- Show up on time and show continuous effort.
Assets:
Carpentry level: minimum carpentry level one or 3 years experience equivalent to.
Level one first aid.
These positions are for up to 2 month, depending on your work ethic, this could be long term.
Deadline is Friday July 20th 12 noon.
